Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile QC Lab Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on performing quality control testing and inspections but should also be willing to provide support in Research and Development (R&D) as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough testing and inspections of finished products and raw materials at various stages.

• Conduct tests, document results, and take necessary follow-up actions under the guidance of the Supervisor.

• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (C of A) for specific products as required.

• Oversee quality assurance checks at designated intervals: 7-day, 60-day, and 90-day assessments.

• Utilize data entry systems to log batches, approve raw materials, adjust RM post-add, and move items from inspection to on-hand status.

• Collaborate with various departments to address approvals, rejections, and issue resolution.

QC Testing Includes:

• Viscosity, weight per gallon (WPG), fineness of grind, gloss/sheen, dry time, color, tint strength, pH, solids, VOC levels, bacteria growth analysis, and titrations.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Proficiency in utilizing data entry systems for quality control processes.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact with different departments.

• Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with QC testing methods is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
