Our client, a leader in the autonomous mobility sector, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Prototyping Team supporting innovative engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $72-$77 per hour

What's the Job?

• You will design, in CATIA V6, prototype hardware and electromechanical systems.

• You will generate 2D drawing packages for fabrication and assembly.

• You will evaluate the dynamic, static, structural, and thermal-mechanical performances of mechanical assemblies.

• You will optimize the design and build of our Prototype Development Fleet.

• You will collaborate with experts in AI, Mechatronics, Computer Vision, and Robotics from all teams throughout the organization.

What's Needed?

• Strong basis of Mechanical Engineering and Physics.

• Experience with 2D drawing packages, including GD&T.

• Design with CAD tools, such as CATIA V6.

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
