Job Description:

SUMMARY

Working under the direction of the Director of Finance, the incumbent will assist in the finance and accounting duties for the Fire Department assisting with managerial assignments but not limited to processing transactions, payroll, purchasing and other activities as assigned. Prepares and maintains confidential information and files. Have knowledge in computer software including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, MUNIS, AppXtender, and Telestaff. The incumbent is expected to exercise good judgment, independence, initiative, and professional expertise in conducting day-to-day operations. All work duties and activities must be performed in accordance with the City safety rules and operating regulations, policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
