Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our battery manufacturing process. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery to ensure safe and uninterrupted production. You will also be trained in our processes and shift to night operations after the initial training period.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure production machinery is maintained in a safe operating condition, meeting uptime requirements to assure uninterrupted production.

  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, and robotics.

  • Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

  • Be available to work all shifts up to 12 hours and occasional overtime.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience

  • Electrical troubleshooting experience

  • Ability to interpret Blueprints and Schematics

  • Experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

  • PLC Programming and Troubleshooting

  • Robotics Experience

  • Own tooling

Work Environment

This role is based in a battery factory setting, which can be hot at times. You will be working in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. The initial training will be on the first shift, 7am-3:30pm (M-F), for approximately 90 days before transitioning to the night shift (5:45pm - 6:15am) with a shift premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.80 - $33.70/hr.
