Job Description:

SUMMARY

Working under the direction of the Aquatic Supervisor, incumbent manages the total operations of a municipal swimming pool. Coordinates and supervises staff, programs, maintenance, and public safety. The incumbent is expected to exercise good judgment, independence, initiative, and professional expertise in conducting day-to-day operations. All work duties and activities must be performed in accordance with the City safety rules and operating regulations, policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the ability to interact with the public, City incumbents, and outside agencies with patience, tact, respect, and professionalism and the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Schedules and supervises staff;

Coordinates Learn to Swim program as assigned;

Prepares daily reports and attendance records;

Deposits money in bank;

Schedules and supervises all programs;

Enforces safety rules and regulations;
