CS Renewables, Inc. Vice President of Renewable Energy Development in Fort Lee, New Jersey
(1)Renewable Business Development in the U.S.•Update the business strategies and plans•Develop and maintain Solar and Battery Energy Storage project pipeline•Interview and hire team members such as land managers, title managers, project development managers, permitting managers, electrical/interconnection engineers•Expand the pool of potential partners including consulting service companies, law firms, Independent System Operators, Utilities, title insurance companies, market research companies, EPC companies, O&M companies, equipment suppliers, off-takers and relevant public authorities(2)Solar and Battery Energy Storage Project Development•Lead project development activities in early, mid, and late stages of development•Conduct site screening in consideration of interconnection capacity, congestion & curtailment, geographical and permitting constraints in order to select target POI and land parcels•Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases, easements and other agreements with landowners•Prepare and submit Interconnection Request (IR) application packages to respective Interconnection System Operators/Utilities for interconnection queue positions and interconnection studies which leads to the execution of Interconnection Agreements (IA)•Take a lead role in obtaining local, state and/or federal permits•Create and manage development schedules and budget of each project•Coordinate with team members from various practices in order to make development decisions(3)PPA Origination and Project Sales•Establish and continue the networking with potential power off-takers•Participate in the competitive tender or bilateral negotiation for the power purchase•Market renewable projects to the corporate off-takers•Coordinate with potential project buyers and proceed the sale of the projectsRequirement: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering; and at least five (5) years of managerial experience in the renewable energy industry.
