Job Description
Assist with a variety of day-to-day accounting functions. Support the preparation of financial statements that adhere to regulatory and accounting guidelines. Identify and rectify discrepancies while assisting in the establishment of effective control systems. Ensure the company's accounting and financial processes meet established standards and promote accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions.
Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with regulatory and accounting guidelines.
Identify and rectify discrepancies in financial records.
Assist in establishing effective control systems.
Ensure compliance with established accounting and financial standards.
Promote accurate financial reporting.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in accounting and general ledger maintenance.
Experience with reconciliation and financial reporting.
Strong auditing skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Attention to detail, dependability, and team orientation.
Experience as an accountant.
Knowledge of ESOP is helpful.
Construction experience with CMS.
Experience with SAGE accounting systems.
Work Environment
Work Monday through Friday, 1st shift. This position requires onsite presence in Fort Dodge. The role offers growth opportunities, a fantastic ESOP, and a supportive company culture.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
