Job Title: Middle School Co-Ed Track and Field Assistant Coach Position Type: Part-Time; Track and Field Season (March 24 to May 10) 2024-2025 School Year Salary: $1,100/year based on experience (Contractor)

SUMMARY This is a contract position. Loveland Classical Schools recognizes the integral role that athletic competition plays in developing our students into men and women of character and virtue. As such, it is expected that all coaches hold themselves to the same high standard of decorum and character that the entire faculty and student body of LCS adheres to. Coaches are expected to thoroughly understand the rules, principles, and competitive strategies of the sport they coach. They are expected to be present at all in season and out of season practices, and at all games. Should a coach be unable to attend a game or practice, they are to make suitable arrangements in their absence. Coaches should be familiar with and comply with the faculty dress code for LCS. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Attend all daily (Monday-Friday) practices and all Track meets on either Friday afternoon or Saturday mornings. (Specific dates can be provided by the Athletic Coordinator) Assist with set up and take down of equipment for practices and meets Develop/improve athlete s basic track and field fitness and knowledge EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED Coaching experience of middle school age athletics Track and Field or alternative coaching experience Concussion Training or willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certified (preferred)
