Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical setting. Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients and checking vitals

  • Scheduling patients and inputting patient information using an EMR system

  • Reviewing and communicating patient results

  • Administering patient check-ins and follow-up appointments

  • Providing excellent customer service to patients

  • Verifying insurance information

  • Using medical terminology accurately

Essential Skills

  • Certified Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

  • Proficiency in medical assisting and customer service

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and EMR systems

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills (nice to have, not required)

  • Attention to detail

Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a fast-paced environment, managing 15+ patients per day. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with the possibility of being called in before 8 am if there is a scheduled appointment. The role offers plenty of opportunities for growth within the company and features a rotating schedule to keep the work dynamic and engaging.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
