Job Title: Assembler - 3rd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Assemblers for the 3rd shift. This position involves working Monday through Friday with mandatory overtime. Successful candidates must agree to overtime scheduling. The 3rd shift operates from 9 PM to 5 AM. You will be part of a team responsible for assembling and inspecting sunglasses from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together.

• Prepare assembled frames for lens installation and Quality Auditor inspection.

• Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.

• Use small tools to insert screws or pins to hold frames together.

• Mix paint for pad printing and fix any pad print malfunctions.

• Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame.

• Send assembled products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging.

• Set up work stations at the start of each shift and build different models as needed.

• Maintain flexibility as specific job duties and departments within assembly may change.

• Stand and walk throughout the shift; comfortable shoes or insoles recommended.

• Rotate job tasks on each shift to limit repetitive movements.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand for 8-10+ hours a day.

• Good attendance with a three strikes mentality.

• No experience required but helpful.

• Pass DT & BK first - No Waiver.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read and follow blueprints.

• General labor and mechanical assembly experience.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will be standing throughout the shift. The work involves highly repetitive, short-cycle assembly tasks. A casual dress code is in place, but close-toed shoes are required. Protective eyewear is provided and must be worn for the entire shift. Daily metrics will be tracked, and regular safety measures, including scheduled stretches and one-hour safety training, are enforced.
