Stryker Service Engineering Technician Flower Mound, Texas
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Overtime: As needed
Weekends : Optional and as needed
What you will do -
As a Service Engineering Technician, you will support day-to-day of Servicing activities, sustaining, and improving Service Processes through independent work or partnering with internal or external stakeholders. This position also will be a key player in Service ERP implementation including current/future process mapping and ERP Go-Live readiness.
Act as first point of contact for daily line support issues.
Be a Subject Matter Expert about Acceptable Quality Standards for products and processes.
Troubleshoot and solve product and process related problems.
Be the change champion for new processes by participating in business process changes, learning the new process and train other Service staff ensuring smooth transition and implementation of the change.
Plan and execute process improvement through Stryker Change Management process.
Planning and execution equipment/fixture calibration and maintenance.
Prepare and maintaining data trending and reports. Handle miscellaneous data requests as they come up, such as but not limited to, presentations and highlights.
Prepare/assist with presentations for various meetings such as, but not limited to Business Process reviews.
What you need -
Required –
High school diploma/GRE
2+ years of relevant experience
Ability to bend, pick up and lift up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or a minimal amount of force constantly to move objects
Ability to independently assemble fixtures and perform testing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Preferred –
- Experience with on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) – highly preferred
