As the Senior Principal Architect, you will adhere to Stryker's SDLC framework, leading solution development, defining technical standards, and guiding team members. You will lead the architectural design tasks within Salesforce.com, as well as end-to-end integrations with major ERPs, encompassing data mapping and management, optimizing system processes, integrating technical standards with business needs, ensuring system reliability and scalability, and advising on complex projects and risks.

What you will do

  • Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.

  • Lead solution development and implementation for new systems and enhancements and participate in defining technical standards for the specialty area.

  • Responsible for all architectural design aspects within the Salesforce.com platform area maintaining knowledge of new technologies within the Lead to Order end to end process.

  • Serves as domain expert in all aspects of architecting, designing, application development.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance, and technical efficiencies and end to end integration with other applications.

  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the systems development concepts, practices, and procedures and responsible for choosing the right technology platform for implementing an architected solution.

  • Formulates design and deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scalability for Stryker systems.

  • Assesses technological risks that could jeopardize the growth and/or operations of the organization.

  • Writes specifications, develops architectural concepts and artifacts such as ERD and Data Flow diagrams.

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related fields required.

  • 10+ years of professional experience required.

  • 5+ years of experience in leading technical resources for projects required.

  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the SFDC architecture and major modules, including configuration, processes, integration including add-on products required.

  • End to end process integration experience with major ERP is required, preferably SAP.

  • Experience working with executive business stakeholders along with proven experience of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning required.

  • Experience with process mapping, documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required, including understanding, evaluating and recommending changes to business processes are required.

  • Experience developing strategic business process methodologies to drive business results required.

  • Knowledge of and ability to drive IT methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge of medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IT requirements preferred.
