Role Overview:

Otis is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in defining, planning, executing, and delivering on project commitments. This role is pivotal in supporting our company’s growth and involves working across various value streams within the organization. You will have the opportunity to enhance your project management and leadership skills while being part of a team focused on success and continuous improvement in all PM competencies.

On a typical day you will:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to develop strong business cases.

  • Understand business benefits, focusing on cost reduction and market-share growth.

  • Lead teams to develop clear project and product requirements.

  • Establish KPIs and facilitate target setting.

  • Coordinate with functional managers to create schedules and secure resources.

  • Estimate financial needs and develop budgets.

  • Lead team meetings and monitor project performance.

  • Manage the project critical path with an emphasis on speed.

  • Identify and mitigate schedule, technical, and cost risks.

  • Prepare and deliver milestone reviews to senior leadership.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience with New Product Development, commercial products, schedule management, budget management, negotiation

  • Understand and routinely apply all elements of the Project Management Process Groups and Knowledge Areas as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Team leadership experience

  • Experience working with suppliers/3rd parties

  • Sound engineering understanding/background

  • MS Office applications including MS Project

  • Elevator systems knowledge a plus

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified a plus
