We are hiring an Industrial Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience working for an OEM or in a similar setting. Candidates who have prior experience in stamping, kitting, packaging, and material production areas will excel in this role. The position involves the use of GMOS (Global Material Optimization Standards), though experience with MODAPTS is also relevant. Proficiency in STDS (Standard Time Data Studies) is preferred. This role requires onsite work every day in Flint, MI.

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial engineering principles to optimize manufacturing processes.

• Work in stamping, kitting, packaging, and material production areas.

• Utilize GMOS (Global Material Optimization Standards) to improve efficiency.

• Conduct and utilize STDS (Standard Time Data Studies) to analyze and improve workflow.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing techniques.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working for an OEM or in a similar environment.

• Experience with stamping, kitting, packaging, and material production.

• Proficiency in GMOS (Global Material Optimization Standards).

• Experience with MODAPTS (relevant but not required).

• Proficiency in STDS (Standard Time Data Studies).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of material flow and time studies.

• Experience in lean manufacturing.

• Relevant certifications in industrial engineering or related fields.

Work Environment

The work environment requires onsite presence every day in Flint, MI. The role involves working closely with various teams to optimize production processes, using advanced industrial engineering tools and standards. The facility is equipped with the necessary technologies to support efficient workflow and production optimization.
