Accounting Clerk

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Wage: $25.00 per hour

Job Summary:

DM Burr is seeking a motivated accounting clerk who is able to apply knowledge of financial terms and principles to an authentic real-world experience. The accounting clerk will assist with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and basic accounting and administrative tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send invoices, credit memos and purchase orders.
• Process company receipts, sales invoices, and payments from customers and suppliers.
• Monitor accounts receivable, following up on outstanding balances as needed.
• Monitor accounts payable, following up on outstanding balances when required.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Reconcile payroll reports with timecards
• Assist with data entry and compilation of data for billing purposes

Position Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Accounting or Accounting/Bookkeeping Experience
• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in other Microsoft Office programs
• Aptitude for mathematics
• Strong analytical skills
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Attention to detail
• Methodical working style
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to prioritize
