Special Information
- This position is located in the Phoenix Biomedical Campus (PBC) in Phoenix, Arizona.
- This position is a hybrid position which allows the incumbent to complete their work at both an NAU site (PBC) and at a non-centralized site with or without accommodation.
Job Description
The Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training (PT/AT) exists across two campuses, the Flagstaff Mountain Campus (FMC) and at the Phoenix Bioscience Core (PBC). The programs offered by the department are year-round, full-time, residential and hybrid graduate programs with greater than 350 graduate students who are supported by over 30 full-time faculty and additional staff. This will be a hybrid position with responsibilities across the entire department impacting prospective and enrolled students in residential and hybrid programs. The primary location is at the Phoenix Bioscience Core. Occasional travel and weekends may be required but on a very infrequent basis. This position has a primary role in the coordination of admissions, enrollment, and marketing activities for the department graduate programs.
This position is located at the Phoenix Bioscience Core campus in Phoenix, AZ.
Physical Therapy Admissions and Enrollment Management Support - 70%
- Respond accurately, clearly, and timely to prospective student questions regarding the application requirements and general information about the programs
- Guide prospective students to complete application requirements
- Communicate with verified PTCAS applicants that have not met the NAU application requirements
- Disseminate the application decision by the Admissions Committee to the applicants\' utilizing templates through PTCAS
- Support applicants from acceptance phase through initial college and program orientation
- Interface with the Graduate College to assure enrollment and verification of meeting conditional acceptance requirements
- Assist in the deposit process
- Communicate with the Admissions Committee
- Assist with updates of all locations the admissions process is described (webpage, PTCAS, academic catalog, etc)
- Manage and participate in recruitment efforts
Physical Therapy/Athletic Training Programmatic Operations & Administrative support - 15%
- Assist with technology needs for curriculum prior to orientation and then support student onboarding (i.e. complete anatomy, physioU, etc.)
- Coordinate PT student kits
- Manage PT/AT student lockers
Department Support - 10%
- Schedule and participate in meetings or committees in the department or on behalf of the department as directed
- Participate in faculty/staff searches as requested
- Coordinate or support event coordination in relation to the programs
- Deliver presentations to communicate information about the program
- Obtain badges for employees
- Proctor exams and assist with OSCEs as needed
Other duties as assigned - 5%
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- A combination of related education, experience, nd training may be used as an equivalent to the above educational Minimum Requirements.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Teams and Outlook
