Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk at our location in Fayetteville, Georgia, United States. The role involves managing various aspects of accounts payable, including entering vendor invoices, performing check runs, and reconciling vendor statements. This role is in the telecom industry and requires expertise in Sage Accounting Software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter all vendor invoices, ensuring they are correctly coded

• Carry out weekly check runs and produce manual checks when needed by the management

• Maintain organized files of all outgoing disbursements for future reference

• Research and resolve any vendor disputes promptly and efficiently

• Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis, ensuring all records are up-to-date

• Work on other job duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

• Use integrated Accounts Payable software for efficient and accurate data entry

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Sage Accounting Software, and other tools to perform tasks efficiently

• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in interactions with all levels and locations

• Prioritize tasks effectively to manage ever-changing priorities and situations. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) practices.

• Demonstrated experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices.

• Capable of performing Invoice Processing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis.

• Familiarity with Sage Accounting Software is necessary.

• Ability to Reconcile Vendor Statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.

• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
