Job Description

Working in a food production environment, you will be responsible for driving a forklift and using a pallet jack to move products from the loading and unloading docks throughout the factory. You will also use an RF scanner to scan products.

Responsibilities

• Drive a forklift in a food production environment.

• Use a pallet jack to move products around the factory.

• Load and unload products from docks.

• Scan products using an RF scanner.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of experience driving a forklift, preferably in a production environment.

• Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with shipping and receiving in a warehouse setting.

• Willingness to learn how to use an RF scanner.

• Comfortable working overtime hours as needed.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a food production environment with sub-zero temperatures. You will work in the freezer warehouse, with temperatures at sub-zero levels. Additionally, you will spend time in the weigh pack/cold room, which is maintained at 34 degrees and where you may be required to work multiple times a day for 20-30 minutes at a time. Proper attire is required, including hair nets, smocks/lab coats, and beard covers for those with facial hair. No jewelry, including wedding rings, is allowed on the production floor. The position requires standing for the entire shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32552.00 - $32552.00/hr.

Candidates will be eligible for a $.50 raise after 60 days worked. 1st Day: Candidates will go through Door "B" which is on the North West of the building by the now hiring signs and they will be temperature checked. Orientations will be every Monday and Wednesday at 3pm and will start working right after orientation.

Candidates will receive a $.50 cent raise after completing training (around a month after starting)
