Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our office. You will be responsible for assembling client/project contracts, amendments, bid documents, and providing general office support such as answering phones, preparing memos and correspondence, maintaining office equipment, scheduling, and creating presentations and spreadsheets. Additional tasks include corporate administrative support, preparation of project contract/specification documents, copywriting, proofreading, and database management. You will also serve as the assistant, assisting in contract preparations, updating spreadsheets, assisting with bids, filing documents into an online database, preparing reports, copying, and sending out technical documents. As the office manager, you will track and order supplies, handle work orders, coordinate office events, and be the go-to person for administrative tasks. This is a first shift position (8 AM - 5 PM).

Hard Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience in a professional setting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Publisher, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent computer skills/technical ability (filing documents, data entry, email)

  • Experience with multi-line phone systems

  • Organizational, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills

Soft Skills

  • Willingness to wear multiple hats

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a professional environment

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Evansville, Indiana.
