San Pasqual Academy is located on a beautiful 238 acres in rural San Pasqual Valley. SPA is equipped with all the amenities of a private high school, including classrooms, an auditorium, gym, and cafeteria. On grounds sports and activities include basketball, softball, and football. Our unique campus features residential staff and house parents serving as surrogate parents who mentor and tutor students, teach age-appropriate independent living skills, create opportunities to explore new interests, encourage participation in sports and recreation, assist in the exploration of career and job opportunities, and promote family living skills.
Pay: starting at $68,640 annually.

What you will do: As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of Group Living to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth. Under the supervision of the Director of Group Living, you will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining program compliance, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising Unit Managers and Direct Care Staff to ensure consistency in implementing the Positive Operational Culture and other behavioral management programs.
Overseeing daily operations of residential units, including staff scheduling, crisis intervention, and incident reporting.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local licensing requirements, as well as ROP policies and procedures.
Providing leadership, coaching, and professional development for staff to enhance team performance and effectiveness.
Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
Responding to and managing crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of incidents, staff performance, and program operations.
In this role, you will serve as a mentor and role model for staff and youth, promoting a culture of respect, accountability, and positive growth. Your leadership will directly impact the success of both the staff and the youth in our care.
To be considered you should: Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a residential treatment facility setting (related or equivalent experience may be considered with approval). Possess a working knowledge of the Positive Operational Culture Behavior modification program. Have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple individuals and projects. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Shift 1– Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
Shift 2- Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday
