The Joint Venture Accountant will provide accounting and analysis support to two Joint Ventures within the Engine Systems Product Line.

This role will be performed in a *hybrid work format , with the individual splitting their time between our offices in Endicott, NY, and remotely. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must reside within a commutable distance of Endicott, NY, or be willing to quickly relocate to the area . Relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.*

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Accounting responsibilities for both Joint Ventures

• Billing and Collections support for both Joint Ventures

• Supporting all external and internal audits, where required

• Supporting monthly account reconciliations and other activities, where required

• Analyzing escalation trends as needed and report to management for updated catalog pricing or contract negotiations

• Performing cash applications for both Joint Ventures

• Seeking out projects to continually improve processes

• Performing other duties and responsibilities as required

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting , Finance , or related degree and 4 years of relevant, professional experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross functional teams and joint venture partners

• Ability to develop solutions and provide process improvements where needed

• Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures

• Strong organizational skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Previous experience in Accounting

• Ability to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies

• Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $73778 - $125422

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
