Assembler Technician

Job Description

As an Assembler Technician, you will be an integral part of our Assembly team, working on a variety of repetitive processes using varied machines and/or hand tools to complete the assembly and/or sub-assembly of component parts. Your primary role will be in the Bundle Department, working according to work orders, setting up baffles into fixtures, using calipers to measure distances, and applying glue as per work order. You will also be required to perform duties in the Kitting area, preparing furniture kits for shipment, and the Build Area, where you will build out larger parts for Caterpillar cooling fans. Other responsibilities will include maintaining records related to production, downtime, quality, and maintenance, as well as ensuring all quality standards are met.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions

  • Experience with assembly and sub-assembly of component parts

  • Experience with measuring devices

Pay:

$18.75/hr.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position.

Work Environment

You will be working on the 1st shift (6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday). Our facility, has recently undergone significant upgrades, including a climate-controlled pressing operation and upgraded assembly cells. We are very ergonomic-conscious, with no work loss injuries for over 5 years. You will be working in cell groups of 3 to 6 individuals, depending on the task. We are a long-standing community employer with a history of community involvement and employee investment. Safety is our top priority, and you will be required to wear PPE, including steel toe boots, long work pants, safety glasses, and a safety vest (provided by us).
