$1,500 Sign-On Bonus
Full-time, Second Shift 11a-7p every other weekend 6a-2:30p
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and preparing food for the cafeteria, catering, chef stations, and patient trayline/room service programs according to menus, recipes and portions appropriately adhering to Baptist Health brand culinary standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares all food products for patient meals, cafeteria, and catered functions in accordance with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures.
Works as a team member with other production personnel to produce quality, cost effective, nutritious meals for patients, visitors, employees, and catered functions.
Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss and waste.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum six months experience in large scale food preparation required.
Thorough knowledge of the culinary arts, including baking, cooking, salad preparation the procurement and storage of foodstuff required.
Ability to use standardized recipes required.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent or higher preferred.
Formal culinary education preferred.
