Job Overview:

Brother Bonaventure Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center, affiliated with Trinitas Regional Medical Center, is a 124-bed skilled nursing facility committed to providing continuous care and support for long-term and sub-acute patients. Our licensed facility offers comprehensive services, including 24-hour nursing care, access to hospital support services, therapies, social services, and recreational activities, aimed at promoting independence and enhancing residents quality of life. With a dedicated staff and personalized care, we ensure a comfortable and caring atmosphere, inviting visitors to experience our compassionate environment firsthand.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night Shift, 40 Hours per week [11:00PM 7:30AM]

• Monday Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license required

• ASN or BSN required

• AHA BLS prior to start date required

• Med Surg, Telemetry, ER and/or acute nursing experience is preferred

• Gerontological certifications and/or national nursing certifications desired

Essential Functions:

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
