Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler

Job Description

This role involves building out pallets for canned dry goods to be shipped from the warehouse. The position is based in a large distribution center and involves picking, packing, and building out pallets according to clients' orders. The individual will operate a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment, moving from one location to the next to customize each pallet as per the client's order. The employee will use a headset that instructs them on what to pick and where to go in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Build out pallets for canned dry goods to be shipped from the warehouse

• Pick, pack, and build out pallets based on clients' orders

• Operate a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment

• Move from one location to the next on the forklift, customizing each pallet to the client's order

• Use a headset to receive instructions on what to pick and where to go in the warehouse

• Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours a day

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

• 6 months or more of forklift experience, or over 1 year in a fast-paced warehouse

Our pay structure starts at $17.00 to $18.35 per hour, with an increase to $19.85 after 6 months, and a push to reach $21.00 an hour for company employees.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
