Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Program Control Cost Manager of Post Production (S02) to be an integral part of the F/A-18 Business Management leadership team. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.
The Manager Program Control 2 is responsible for F/A-18 Post Production Program performance reporting, analysis, compliance, and financial reporting. This position will be a key interface with the program leadership team, integrated product teams, Air Dominance Cost Management homeroom, control account managers, DCAA/DCMA, Internal and External Audit organizations. The candidate will partner with Business leadership and manage a group of Program Cost and Schedule Analysts.
The F/A-18 Program is a fast paced, dynamic, and complex environment that requires a leadership candidate to possess self-initiative, strong technical background in the essential functions (as listed below), and elevated communication across a diverse team. It will require a high level of work ethic and strategic adaptability. Candidate will have the following, but not limited to, responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Earned Value Management (EVM) application and deliverables
Financial Planning and Reporting
Process Improvements
Profit Analysis / Return on Sales
Proposal Support
EAC and Risk/Opportunity Assessment
Program Baselines and Integrated Baseline Reviews
Auditory Compliance and Surveillances
IPMRs, CFSRs, and CCDR/CSDRs
Division and Sector ad hoc activities
Provide financial and administrative leadership and support to meet program requirements
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform analysis & prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Be responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting processes. Provide internal reporting requirements to include incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective action or updates using program reporting tools. Good leadership skills & the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential.

Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree with 6 years experience or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in the following areas: business, finance, accounting, program control and/or similar industry related fields
Strong background and experience in leading teams directly or indirectly
Extensive knowledge of Financial Forecasting and Profitability, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Cobra, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting principles
Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership
Experience interfacing with customers or government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit
Solid understanding of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) processes and procedures
Experience with the AOP and LRSP processes

Salary Range: $138,100 - $207,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
