SUMMARY:

The Master or Journeyman Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems throughout the property - consisting of both residential and commercial buildings. This includes trouble shooting water systems, recirculating loops, advise on material procurement, and provide estimated project budgets within the scope of work. Periodic maintenance and servicing of plumbing systems will be required to ensure the property is up to code. Experience with septic systems, grease traps, venting systems, and drainage systems would be extremely beneficial. The Journeyman Plumber will also need to provide documentation of work performed. Collaboration with other trades will be expected to meet deadline and complete tasks at hand.

Confidentiality and discretion are of paramount importance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Read blueprints and follow building codes and regulations.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient plumbing system installations.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solution.
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be licensed Plumber in the state of Texas through the TSBPE.
  • Responsible Master Plumber license (RMP) preferred.
  • 7-10 years' experienceplumbing ranging from drain cleaning, water heater installation, toilet repair/replacement, etc.
  • Ability to develop, read, understand, and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to understand any and all safety requirements.
  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the company's business.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have Valid Driver's License.
  • Successful completion of thorough background investigation and reference check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50lbs without limitation.
  • No bending, twisting, reaching, standing limitations.
  • Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
  • Working conditions can vary greatly depending on the job site and time of year. You must be able to perform your work in extreme heat, cold, muddy, wet, windy, and dry conditions.

Schedule:

This is a non-exempt full-time position. Candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends and potentially on Holidays. Schedule is generally (5) days a week (Monday-Friday).

Compensation:

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Daugherty Ranches LLC provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements.

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of things including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other related factors. The starting pay for this position is between $40 and $45 per hour.
