Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity in the Tax preparation space. As part of a large team, your role will be to manage the inbound flow for tax return audit and distribution for the state of Michigan. You will organize documents, categorize data, manage customer accounts, process electronic filing, maintain accurate records in a detail-oriented manner. This role is located in the Eaton Rapids, MI region and will start right away.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer data

• Maintenance of precise paper and electronic records

• Handling sensitive mail and effectively categorize and sort in a detail-oriented manner

• Providing excellent customer service in a team setting

• Performing data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Utilizing Database management software and cloud-based programs for various tasks

• Managing consumer compliance with industry standards

• Processing tax return documents and file for return processing

Requirements

• Proficiency in Data Entry, demonstrating excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

• Expertise in filing and electronic document management.

• Exceptional teamwork and maintaining professionalism and respect in all team interactions.

• Understanding of Tax Prep processes and document flow and compliance preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with the capability to scan and manage electronic documents.

• Fast and accurate Data Entry skills, ensuring all financial information is correctly inputted and updated.

• Experience in handling Bank Transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers is preferred.

• Government or Tax filing and compliance experience a plus
