Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Cost Analyst to join the team of one of their top customers located in Greenville, SC. In this position, the cost analyst must have experience with managing and monitoring the financial aspects of a project, including tracking costs, revenue, and budget variances, and using accounting principles to ensure a project stays within its financial parameters and delivers profitable results. This position supports the central engineering team, so this person will be working cross functionally across many teams. The analyst will monitor the purchase to pay cycle and ensure that forecasting and reporting are kept up to date, and will be utilizing HIVE (cost management tool) to track costs. Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle, is needed in this role to work through the accounting modules for each project. Additionally, this person will ideally have experience in PowerBI and HIVE to report on data, but similar experience in another reporting tool is acceptable. This role is onsite in Greenville with standard working hours 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Skills and Requirements

2-4 years' experience in a project cost analyst role

Experience with ERP systems (Ex: Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics)

Strong background with purchase to pay cycles of purchase orders with the ability to budget, forecast, and identify variances

Adept with reporting in tools, preferably within PowerBI and HIVE null
