Description

An innovative and efficient Staff Accountant is need for a recognized company in the Lehigh Valley. We are looking for a talented and focused individual who will play a vital role in this company. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. · Execute variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings

· Accounts payable and receivable

· Prepare and file tax returns

· Enter accounting related information into business logs

· Organize and update financial records

· Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue

· Perform month bank reconciliations

· Prepare documentation for external auditors

· General Ledger entries

· Forecasting and Budgeting

· Analyze the Corporate financial operations to ensure business is running efficiently

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

· At least two years’ experience in accounting or a related field

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills

· Proficient in QuickBooks

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Ability to read and analyze financial reports
