Management Trainee Program

Purpose:

To engagerecent college graduates in Eagle Railcar's Management Training Program,

whereindividuals will gain the knowledge and experience required for promotion intomanagement level positions under the direction of experienced personnel. Theideal candidate will be open to learning new things, not afraid to takechances, is willing to get their hands dirty, and is interested in learningevery aspect of railcar repair and

maintenance.

EagleRailcar Services, the nations largest railcar repair network, is seeking aselect

group ofeager, motivated individuals to join our growing organization. Eagle isimplementing a new management trainee program that will serve as a feeder forvarious management level positions within the company. This 10 to 12-monthprogram will provide intense hands-on training in every department at the shoplevel.

Management Trainee Skills

Receive hands-on training inrailcar repair and maintenance operations, including blast, paint, cleaning,valve rebuilds, mechanical repair, AAR training, NDT training, inspections,estimating, billing, etc.

Learn various staff functions, includingoperations, management viewpoints, and

companypolicies and practices affecting each phase of business.

Meet performance goals and objectives set byupper management and determined upon accepting the position.

Report on the progress of goals and objectives.

Monitor performance progress with management andkey trainers.

Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledgeof methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance ofdepartmental duties.

Train in functions and operations of relateddepartments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments andprovide greater promotional

opportunities.

Management Trainee Requirements

Bachelors degree in a science,engineering, or related technical discipline.

Willing to engage in hands-ontraining and hard work.

Motivated toward career growth andlearning.

Strong written, verbal, andpresentation skills.

Leadership skills.

Ability to interact effectivelywith a wide range of staff throughout the company.
