Position Summary
This dynamic and multifaceted position is designed to address the administrative and operational needs of the ME department. Key responsibilities include supporting the undergraduate program, ME capstone-related duties, coordinating events, and general department support.
In addition, this role will schedule rooms, coordinate commencement activities, handle calendar management, and create promotional materials. The individual in this position will be proactive, versatile, and integral to enhancing the department's functionality and supporting its diverse activities.
Our company embraces a remote-friendly approach for this position, allowing individuals the opportunity to work remotely for 1 to 2 days per week following the completion of the initial training period.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in maintaining accounting ledgers and/or experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or desktop publishing software. The job may require knowledge of presentation and web page software and technical or medical terminology and/or technical training related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, faculty, and staff. Exceptional organizational abilities are essential for managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and meeting deadlines with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in technical programs such as Campus Solutions and 25Live is highly desired.
The candidate should be a collaborative team player who fosters a supportive work environment and demonstrates a strong customer service orientation. Adaptability to changing priorities within a dynamic academic setting is important, as is experience in event planning and coordination. Financial acumen for account reconciliation is also a plus.
