Structural Engineer

Coordinate with other design professionals, such as MEP engineers. Be involved in the design phase of office/commercial/residential buildings, including foundation, retaining wall, building framing analysis, and multi-story shoring design based on building codes (IBC, NYSBC). Preparation of faade and garage rehabilitation plans as per the NYC building code and Local Laws. Design and analysis of the wooden structures using hand calculations. Conduct field visits to supervise and consult field supervisors and clients. Conduct field inspections to evaluate existing structural conditions. Design structural elements: beams, joists, columns, footings, concrete slabs, using computer software.
