IDR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for one of our top Healthcare clients in the Rochester, MN. This is a 1 year remote contract role. Responsibilities: * Design and build resilient, scalable back-end services for data-centric clinical and analytic applications using cloud computing, big data, and machine learning frameworks. * Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and various teams to translate requirements into code, participate in design and architecture discussions, and effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders. * Develop services around data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, and machine learning. Ensure comprehensive documentation, participate in DevOps and Agile practices, and perform expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis. * Lead targeted cross-functional improvement efforts, mentor junior software engineers, solve complex problems, and independently lead projects or project steps within broader initiatives. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience as noted below; OR an Masters Degree in Computer Science. * 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, specifically HTML and CSS * 5+ years using Lit framework (or Stencil), Storybook, Figma, and Automation testing programs (Jest, Cypress) * 3+ years of experience with Aria, WCAG Guidelines, and CI/CD Workflows What's in it for you? * Full Benefits during the contract!
