Apply today to join our team! About the Role We are seeking a Director of Product Management to help us transform legal research - and litigation workflows more broadly - with Gen AI. As Director of Product Management for Westlaw, you will have the opportunity to work with the market leader on a team that is using cutting edge AI and the highest quality legal content to utterly transform legal workflows. Key Responsibilities: Define and lead the vision, design and feature set of products. Create business plans for budget approval and develop product roadmaps. Foster innovation and differentiation across group propositions, products or service to meet current and future client needs. Take ownership of product strategy, including design, business requirements, feature and functionality tradeoffs for one or more strategic initiatives and/or propositions, products or services. Provide support to business teams as required for key presentations, strategy updates, etc. Evaluate and decide on build vs. buy opportunities for propositions, products or services, leveraging organizational resources for execution. Manage budgeting activities and the development of third-party partnerships. Cultivate expertise in in company products and stay informed on industry trends. Location: This role can be based in any of the following locations: Minneapolis, MN; New York, NY; San Francisco, Los Angeles or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC; Toronto, Canada. About You The Ideal candidate understands that AI is the most exciting advancement in human history and is fluent with the latest AI tools and techniques. In addition, they possess the following required qualifications: Either (1) deep experience as a litigator doing complex legal research and/or (2) 5+ years of experience in product development for the legal industry (ideally for litigation). Can lead a team of AI-savvy lawyers to break down complex legal research and related litigation workflows into the subparts SOTA AI can perform well with, and partner with TR data scientists and engineers to bring new solutions to market quickly. Can improve briefs and motions with sophisticated legal analysis and efficient legal research. Can lead customer research with experienced litigators to more deeply understand customer workflows and refine product concepts. #LI-PFF What's in it For You? Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $177,380 - $329,420. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $154,000 - $286,000. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
