nVent Quality Engineer in Dzierzoniow, Poland

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Reporting on quality performance - driving KPIs;

  • Moderating Corrective Actions in interdisciplinary teams;

  • Analyzing non-conformities that arise;

  • Collaborating with other nVent units

  • Conducting quality audits;

  • Participating in the qualification team for new suppliers;

  • Participation in the work of research and development teams;

  • Preparation of inspection plans;

  • Conducting analysis of measurement systems;

  • Creating quality procedures;

  • Creating measurement reports;

  • Supporting ISO audits;

  • Analyzing and reducing quality costs;

  • Conducting risk analysis of the production process

YOU HAVE:

  • Higher education in engineering- preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Quality;

  • At least one year of experience in a similar position;

  • Experience working with measurement equipment;

  • Knowledge of ISO system standards;

  • Knowledge of 8D, RCCM, Ishikawa, A3 , other quality methods and tools;

  • Ability to create quality reports;

  • Experience in working with technical documentation;

  • Analytical skills;

  • Decision-making skills;

  • Interpersonal skills;

  • Knowledge of English at a level to communicate freely;

  • Knowledge of APQP and PPAP standards will be an added advantage;

  • Knowledge of SIX SIGMA issues will be an advantage;
