Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience operating heavy industrial machinery, with the ability to set up and measure products accurately. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, maintaining a clean workspace, and meeting production output requirements.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy industrial machinery
Read and interpret tape measures, mics, and calipers
Set up products onto machinery and follow step-by-step instructions
Measure products to ensure accuracy
Notify manager or maintenance if product tolerance is off
Conduct minimal deburring of products
Utilize hand crane to move material off the line
Meet minimal production output requirements
Complete documentation of errors, measurements, and product completion
Maintain a clean work area
Essential Skills
Heavy industrial machine operating experience
Ability to read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
Experience in machine operation or CNC operation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience in heavy industrial/steel fabrication/steel cutting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a loud, dirty, and hot or cold environment
Steel-toed shoes required

Work Environment
Our facility currently has 120 employees and is expanding to add three total shifts. The work environment is in older buildings that are loud, dirty, and can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You will work in specific departments with a supervisor and a set team. The facility contains CNC machinery, welding booths, and racking systems, and is undergoing upgrades to improve conditions. Shifts available are 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am). Training will be conducted on the day shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, Indiana.CNC
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.40 - $21.40/hr.
