Here’s the Gist:  
As an emergency communications specialist, you will play a key role in the operation and success of the emergency services program, protecting Wolfspeed’s people, property, and processes through support of our global emergency services and security teams.  You will function as an emergency communications subject matter expert within our Global Security Operations Center, providing dispatch services, maintaining situational awareness and providing a common operating picture for our manufacturing sites around the world.  

 

The Day-to-Day  

  • Receive emergency calls and dispatch appropriate security or emergency services resources 

  • Maintain situational awareness of technological and natural hazards and communicate with Global Protection leadership on identified issues 

  • Coordinate and facilitate responses with on-site and off-site resources 

  • Develop policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure maximum efficiency of our emergency communications functions 

 

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): 

  • At least five years of emergency communications experience in a Public Safety Answering Point or equivalent 

  • Prefer experience in policy and procedure development and training 

  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations. 

 

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
