Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Training & Development Professional - Learning and Development in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will develop instructional material for providing professional development programs. You will report to the Training Manager.
Location : Durant
Schedule : Regular/Full-Time - Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Wage access is an option for this position.
Primary Tasks:
You will conduct training programs, seminars, and conferences for associates.
Create limited curriculum to engage training participants and maximize learning.
Recommend changes to all curriculums.
Conduct training using adult learning principles, e-learning strategies, assessment design, integration of technologies to engage participants.
You will collaborate with partners to ensure completion and delivery of instructional design projects and compliance with standards; meet all quality assurance checks.
Create training aids, such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; able to transport and set up A/V equipment.
Revise training strategies and materials for improved outcomes.
Evaluate participants during training and provide feedback to participants and management.
Evaluate, and report through different assessment tools.
Schedule and prepare the appropriate classroom space.
Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field or 4 years related experience.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and managerial skills
Knowledge of curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction methods, and training metrics
Training experience focused on improving the skills of workforce
Knowledge of adult learning models
Computer competence, including the ability to use multi-media
Two (2) years training experience focused on improving the skills of workforce
