WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Exchange Transaction Manager manages the activities and personnel for all aspects of the organization's exchange transaction revenue processes. The Exchange Transaction Manager reports to the Director of Revenue Compliance and contributes to the strategic direction and financial integrity of the processes for the organization that relate to exchange transaction revenue (mainly ASC 606), guiding revenue recognition processes and supporting decision-making at the highest levels, particularly within the unique context of a nonprofit organization. The Exchange Transaction Manager is a subject matter expert on exchange transaction revenue, which involves reviewing and analyzing contracts to determine revenue recognition implications to ensure accurate financial reporting, particularly focusing on exchange transaction revenue within the context of a nonprofit organization. The position is expected to develop, enhance, and document internal controls related to revenue recognition processes. The position is also expected to provide guidance and support to the team and other departments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue forecasting and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

Oversees the overall activity of all exchange transaction revenue streams, directly managing select segments and providing oversight for others.

Manage and mentor a team of specialists, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

Prepare and present financial reports related to revenue recognition to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and transparency.

Manages and implements projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue recognition process.

Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting revenue recognition and communicate necessary updates to the team and stakeholders.
