Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technology field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Typically 10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or related fields.

• Experience in people management, leading a team.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with and knowledge of SQL.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. • Lead team to ensure everyone is focused on the most important and impactful work, holding the team accountable for results.

• Gather information relevant to the business, break down the information, make comparisons and trade-offs between similar and dissimilar options, and identify the option that is most desirable for achieving the goals.

• Be the escalation point for the team and run discussions with cross-functional partners.

• Initiate and lead projects to resolve abuse- and harm-fighting and mitigation problems, and build trusted user experiences of high complexity.

• Strengthen global partnerships with stakeholders, across and beyond Trust and Safety, to identify and advance common goals, act as a reliable domain expert for stakeholders.
