Parker Aerospace, Military Flight Controls Division is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to participate in a summer intern program.
The candidate will assist quality engineers with developing , modifiying, applying, and maintaining quality standards and evaluation methods for products and processes. Provides statistical information for quality improvements by determining and applying testing methods and criteria. Coordinates and guides technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure division quality objectives are achieved.
Possible assignments include:
Audit specific manufacturing processes to the required procedures noting any differences or opportunities
Develop programs for the Cognex inspection system as needed
Develop documentation and provide training to Cognex inspection system for internal users
Develop/Update manufacturing inspection plans based on results of analysis
Assist in corrective action documentation and implementation
Assist calibration department in record development, update, and archive
Assist Quality Engineering in data analysis using statistical processing software
Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of elements of the quality system as assigned
Typical tasks may include:
Data entry, computer analysis, researching potential vendors for new components or materials, application engineering, part change notice processing, customer print reviews/reviewing and understanding customer needs and expectations.
Must be pursuing degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
Must be entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2025
