Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Financial Services industry, based in Dublin, California. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger for multiple trust funds, preparing deposits, assisting with annual audits, and providing clerical support as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Adherence to appropriate accounting control procedures

• Preparing miscellaneous deposits

• Assisting with reconciliations as needed

• Providing clerical support as needed

• Maintaining accounting hard copy files

• Processing accounts payable

• Preparing checks for mailing

• Running various reports

Requirements

• Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience in Check Runs is mandatory

• Must be familiar with Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing is necessary

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Familiarity with Sage 100 is advantageous

• Must have previous experience in the Financial Services industry

• Prior work as an Accounts Payable Clerk or a similar role is desirable
