Join our dynamic team as a Sales and Business Developer, where you'll drive growth by identifying and cultivating new customer opportunities for mechanical seals and systems in Germany, Central and Eastern Europe. This role involves engaging directly with OEM factories, Sales Offices, and EPCs in Germany, Central Europe (Switzerland, Austria) and Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic) and requires approximately 70% travel. You'll work closely with the Sales Manager to target accounts, adapting to changing business conditions and circumstances.

Your profile:

  • Business Development Pro : Experience in working with OEMs, EPCs, and HQ sales, with a knack for discovering and building new customer relationships.

  • Independent Evaluator and Customer Scout : Capable of autonomously assessing potential new customers, initiating contact, and building strong relationships to secure requests for quotes and orders.

  • Relationship Builder : Ability to quickly establish and maintain intimacy with existing customers without requiring a formal handover.

  • Marketing Guru : Ability to craft and execute innovative territory marketing plans and strategic objectives that exceed team goals.

  • Industry Insight : Preferably, familiarity with mechanical seals, rotating equipment, and application processes in key industrial markets.

  • Skilled Negotiator : Strong commercial negotiation skills that benefit the company's interests.

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit : Promote our products and services with creativity and initiative.

  • Customer Connector : Ensure consistent communication and visits with key customers in your territory.

  • Goal-Oriented : Self-motivated and driven by achieving ambitious goals and objectives.

  • Time Management Expert : Skilled in managing time and tasks autonomously and independently.

and Must-Have Skills:

  • Technical Foundation : BSME or equivalent technical degree, plus sales and marketing experience or equivalent industry background with a proven track record of success.

  • Industry Experience : Prior exposure to seals, rotating equipment, and related systems is a plus.

  • Organizational Ace : Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Language Proficiency : High proficiency in both English and German (85%-90%).

  • Excellent Communicator : Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Your tasks:

  • Achieve Sales Goals : Meet personal sales targets and contribute to team goals for mechanical seals and auxiliary systems for pumps, mixers, and specialty rotating equipment.

  • Build Relationships : Develop and maintain high-level connections at major OEM accounts, including factories and sales offices.

  • Engage Customers : Foster and sustain relationships at major HQs and EPCs.

  • Procure New Clients : Autonomously identify and engage new clients, attending trade shows and industry events to expand the customer base.

  • Collaborate Internally : Enhance the interface with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and the OEM/Project Sales Force.

  • Strategic Planning : Manage strategic planning and coordinate OEM/Project Seals sales on both regional and international levels.

  • Marketing Synergy : Partner with Marketing to establish our company as a leader in pumps, mixers, and specialty rotating equipment through promotion, advertising, technical articles, and regional trade shows.

  • Customer Support : Offer high-level troubleshooting and manage any T&Cs issues, including late payment collection.

  • Reporting Excellence : Provide quality and timely monthly reports.

  • Market Intelligence : Gather market price and competitor positioning data to inform strategic planning.
