Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provides a broad range of therapeutic and psychiatric social work services to mentally or emotionally disturbed patients.

  • Acts as a liaison with hospitals, clinics, referral sources, and other medical professionals/centers affiliated with the facility.

  • Collaborates with psychiatric and interdisciplinary teams in diagnoses and treatment plans.

  • Assess relative, cognitive, behavioral or emotional problems.

  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications or Skill Required: Master's degree in human services field.

Experience: One to two years of experience or related experience, preferably in community mental health.

Licenses, Certifications, registrations: Current State of Michigan, LLMSW, LMSW (Licensed Master's Social Work) or LLPC, or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).
