Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as an Admin Assistant/Receptionist. This role is a blend of administrative and receptionist duties, with a strong emphasis on event planning and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter who enjoys being part of a team and is eager to take on a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning and organizing events, including ordering lunch for events at the plant and coordinating birthday lunches and dinners for employees.
Utilize basic Excel skills to add items and manage data efficiently.
Be an active team player who is proactive and always looking for ways to help and contribute.
Ensure the lunch area is clean and tidy after lunch.
Sit at the front desk, greet visitors warmly, and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Run employee engagement activities, maintain a call-in log, and email it to the relevant people.
Learn and use new programs, such as an app space for displaying information on TV monitors, and demonstrate proficiency in PowerPoint.
Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual preferred.
Required to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
The shift is from 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. The environment is a newer office, very clean and professional, especially for a manufacturing facility.
The dress code is business casual. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
