Hilton Senior Project Manager, Inventory Innovation in Denver, Colorado

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Senior Project Manager, Inventory Innovation you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Inventory Innovation team, you will report to the Director of Inventory Planning.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Work with Hilton partners and vendors to establish working practices, clarify roles and responsibilities, and ensure that plans, dependencies, and risks are aligned with the project plan, meet deliverables, and support commercial services goals.
  • Identify functionality gaps by working with subject matter experts. Prioritize requirements and develop and implement a remediation plan.
  • Align the team with the project methods, implement standards, and supervise opportunities for progression.
  • Develop an understanding of hotel-level, owner-level, and corporate-level commercial objectives and revenue management business systems across brands and geographies.
  • Be a strategic partner with business leads, product owners, leadership, deployment teams, and Platform Activation.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with change management to account for training and support for sustained adoption and results, both with our internal Hilton corporate audience and with our hotels and owners.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Lead all aspects of an initiative within Inventory Innovations, including ensuring project plans and goals are achieved; managing risks and issues related to scope, timeline, or cost; and working with the business lead and partners, updating them on project progress.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in Project Management
  • Travel occasionally for team meetings and collaboration with partners
  • Project-level leadership, including organizing people, tasks, timing, risks, scope, budget, and reporting, while understanding how all of the above relate to the larger project goals and business objectives.
  • A record of collaborating with the team and acting objectively to stay on track to achieve common goals.
  • A record of carrying out large-scale changes across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience creating memos, internal briefings, presentations, and training/job aid-type content

It would be useful if you have:

  • Seven (7) of professional experience in Project Management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification
  • An understanding of revenue management, pricing, inventory, and on-property operations.
  • An understanding of Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence, and other project planning tools
  • Hospitality Experience
