Senior Inspector We have a career opportunity for a Senior Inspector who will work with a broad range of projects. This role requires expert knowledge of the trades, crafts and equipment to complete the job, along with the ability to identify potential problems early. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the construction group. Location This position offers flexibility within the front range of Colorado. Benesch is expanding our Colorado division, and we welcome candidates from diverse areas including but not limited to Greeley, Fort Collins, Johnstown, in addition to the Denver Metro area. The Impact You Will Have Field observation and documentation of construction activities as directed by the Construction Project Manager in accordance with the contract requirements and documentation of same per applicable standards Inform Construction Project Manager on progress of work and pertinent issues by compiling written, oral and/or a diagram presentation Analyze schedules, track progress, keep contract conflict from escalating into a problem Train inspectors Comply with all applicable safety and environmental requirements Perform measurements and calculations to determine quantities of installed work items Interpret plans and reports to verify field layout and compliance Effectively interact with contractors and their representatives while representing the contract owner Any other duties assigned by the Construction Project Manager

What We Are Looking For Expert knowledge of applicable construction standards, regulations, and contract requirements necessary for completion of assigned tasks Expert knowledge of construction instruments/tools, scheduling and measurement Expert knowledge of appropriate software, and of appliable codes and standards Goal-oriented and effective communication skills Comply with all project and company safety guidelines Must have a valid U.S. driver's license held for a minimum of one year and a safe motor vehicle record, meeting company standards Collaborative approach that can mentor less experienced staff and builds relationships with the larger team, Clients, other Consultants, and the Contractor #LI-OS1

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses. Benefits: Our benefits package is designed to take care of our employees.
