Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Platform Engineer at DISH you must be a natural problem solver, you think the best answer is the simplest and most elegant. You’ll work within an agile delivery team and use your skills to build the next generation of products to unleash the benefits of 5G. We are looking for engineers with a passion for understanding the interactions between our 5G network and the Enterprise all within a fully cloud native ecosystem.
Our revenue management team delivers charging, rating, and mediation capabilities to wireless customers. As a platform engineer, you will design, develop, and validate these capabilities as a member of the delivery team.
Day-to-day Job Responsibilities:
Design and configure charging, mediation, and rating capabilities leveraging platform best practices
Take ownership and responsibility for configuration of new offers and network integrations
Support and communicate with all relevant persons engaged directly or indirectly such as product owners, testers and other platform engineers
Represent the revenue management domain with respect to individual development items
Create, maintain and track user stories
Advise Product Owner and Scrum master on all individual development tasks (i.e., user stories)
Application Responsibilities:
Obtain an in-depth knowledge of the platform and its native capabilities
Configure / code to user story specifications and perform applicable unit testing
Package deployment and support release of necessary configuration and code
Validate changes using software tools and wireless devices
Diagnose and triage issues and defects
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
2+ years of experience working in the Telecommunications Industry including Tier 1 / Tier 2 operators mobile network operator
2+ years of experience in delivering software solutions covering all aspects from inceptions to deployment and maintenance
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience and subject matter expertise with Wireless/5G and rating, charging, or mediation platforms
Experience of working with teams in diverse geographic locations
Experience with cloud as deployment environment
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
