Organizational Change Manager Reporting to the Associate Director, IT Project, and Portfolio Management in the Project Management Office (PMO), you will have split responsibilities between supporting project based organizational change and building best practices, standards and thought leadership around organizational change management. As an Organizational Change Manager your focus will be on people, processes, communications, and systems of organizational change management. In parallel you will be leading change management activities for high visibility projects while collaborating with peers around campus to support success and maximize customer satisfaction. This position is not currently a management position and does not have direct reports.
75% Project based Organizational Change Management You will own and lead project change-related activities including stakeholder identification, change impact analysis, communications planning, training planning, readiness assessment, and adoption measurement. Develop management plans and materials for projects and/or change initiatives to maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance via proven ADKAR methodologies. Direct coordination of communications and training materials that support a successful transition to various application/software for end-users. Responsible for leading others through changes to current business processes, projects deliverables and other impacts on enterprise technology. Build strong relationships within the PMO to coalesce change management and project management practices to achieve a shared vision of project success. 20%- Organizational Change Management Practice Building You will lead the development of change management practices, processes, tools, and templates to set up a change management community. This will include creating and delivering a consistent, organized, and effective set of practices, processes, and tools to be used by others across campus. Create change standards and coach team members on how to implement these standards with excellence. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to build a network of change champions and agents. Leverage industry's best standards for building change practices that support projects with a degree of perseverance, adaptability, and tolerance for ambiguity. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 2+ years direct change management experience; implementing change management initiatives for IT related projects Experience leading organizational change efforts. Experience with MS Office toolset
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a field such as business administration, human resources, or change management or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years direct change management experience; defining change management initiatives and planning with business and IT projects. Experience using change management processes and methodologies and implementing processes across multiple levels of the organization. Experience in building change management processes and tools to support change management practices across an organization. Experience with medium-to-large-scale organizational complex change efforts. Experience collaborating successfully with both technical personnel and non-technical customers and staff. Advanced competency with MS Office toolset and Project Management tracking systems. Change management certification or designation (PROSCI, Lean or Similar)

This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
